Alamo Academies

The Almo Academies is a national award winning, innovative, STEM-based instructional model operated by the Alamo Area Academies Inc, a non-profit organization, in partnership with the Alamo Colleges, San Antonio area high schools, industry and the cities of San Antonio, New Braunfels and Seguin providing America’s youth with tuition-free career pathways into critical demand technical STEM occupations. The program utlizes contetualized industry-driven curricula resulting in 94% of graduates entering higher education or high-wage careers in aerospace, manufacturing, inforamtion technology and health.

P-Tech

P-TECH is a first of its kind 9-14 school model, which combines high school, college and the world of work. Developed in collaboration with the Department of Education, City Universy of New York, New York City College of Technology and the IBM Corporation.

Kent Career Technical Center

Kent Career Tech Center takes project-based learning to a whole new level. By integrating the learning environment with real-world applications, we are students with knowledge and expreience they can apply directly to college and career. Specific laboratories in which students complete industry-based projects and receive academic credit for advanced english, science math and technology.

Nashville Academies

Nashville Academies allow students to choose a thematic course of study, such as engineering, health care, or international baccalaureate, and learn in a relevant, hands-on environment with real-world application. Students learn math, science, english, and social studies in the context of their academy theme.

Center for Advanced Research Technologies

CART is designed as a high performance business atmosphere, organized around four career clusters. They are professional sciences, engineering, advanced communications and global economics. Within each cluster are serveral career.

Aviation High School

Aviation High School is a uniquely specialized, co-educational high school that prepares students for careers in aviation maintenance and the aerospace industry. Aviation High School’s Federal Aviation Adminsitration (FAA) certified program developed and expanded with the evolution of the aviation industry. Students complete both rigorous vocational and academic programs that provide excellent preparation for aviationi-related careers as well as college.
