Arkansas Coding Academy

Arkansas Coding Academy provides information technology training to individuals looking to learn new technical skills. The program offers courses taught by industry experts to help students get started in a new career or upskill in their current field. There are also services to help students improve resumes and digital profiles, learn interview and job search skills, and make connections with area recruiters.

Arkansas Division of Workforce Services

The focus of the Arkansas Division of Workforce Services is to provide individuals the tools they need to enhance and sustain their employability. And, through the education and skills training offered to jobseekers, employers are reducing hidden costs associated with lost production time and turnover rates by hiring qualified workers.

Business and Industry Training

Business and Industry Training is a consortium of Northwest Arkansas businesses and industries working together to design customized, skill-based training to raise the skill level of the region’s workforce. The program offers hands-on short-term industry certifications in various skilled trades including electrical, mechanical, automation, fluid power, robotics and more.

Forge Institute

Forge Institute offers training designed to empower the nation’s workforce with advanced information technology skills. Students, job seekers, pathfinders, underemployed, new hires and promotion seekers can gain new skills and certifications through training courses and bootcamps in IT, cybersecurity and more.

Hackbright Academy

Hackbright Academy is an engineering school for gender equality with a mission to increase diversity in tech through education, mentorship and community. The school has a 12-week accelerated software development program designed to help diverse individuals become software engineers. Hackbright Academy is dedicated to changing the gender ratio in the tech industry.

Nielsen Norman

Nielsen Norman offers a variety of live training and workshops in user experience (UX) design, research and management topics. The training includes the opportunity to earn UX certification.

NorthWest Arkansas Community College

NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) offers a full range of certificates and associate degrees that can lead to careers in business, computer science, art, communications, culinary, nursing, engineering, construction, criminal justice and more.

With over 75 degrees and certificates, NWACC students can earn a certificate in only a few months, pursue a two-year degree in a high-demand trade, or take core courses that transfer to a four-year university.

Northwest Technical Institute

Northwest Technical Institute is a post-secondary educational institution that offers nine diploma programs, a secondary career center, an adult education program, as well as certification and community education classes.

University of Arkansas Global Campus

The University of Arkansas Global Campus provides continuing education, conference and meeting space, degree completion programs, continuing professional education and media services to the Arkansas community.

U of A Professional and Workforce Development, a division of the Global Campus, is a hub for professional and workforce development programs and courses offered by U of A colleges and departments.

UpSkill NWA

Upskill NWA helps individuals earn degrees and professional credentials for high-demand careers in health care. The program provides tuition funding, childcare and transportation to help workers transition from low-paying jobs into high-demand, higher-paying careers.
